Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)  in Biblical Studies

The Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies is designed to train Christian  scholars who can serve the church worldwide as teachers, researchers, pastors, and leaders. The program aims at fostering faithfulness to the teaching of Scripture in combination with creative and critical reflection on its significance for the church and contemporary culture. Students may focus on either Biblical Theology or Systematic/Historical Theology. The nature of Scripture and of the theological task demands that theology be rooted in Scripture and that Scripture be interpreted theologically.

The PhD in Biblical Studies is designed to train scholars who can serve the church worldwide as teachers, researchers, pastors, and leaders. The program aims at fostering faithfulness to the teaching of Scriptures with a view towards strengthening and equipping the church in its mission.

Method of Study / Assessment - (For a Master's degree ) Research Based Online Learning. (The students are expected to produce a at least a ten pages report of each course, about what they've learnt, from each of the Courses stated above and they shall be graded according to their reports. At the submission of all the reports, the student will write the final examination.

Mode of Study / Assessment - For a Bachelor's Degree: The students are expected to produce  a minimum of 5 pages report of each of the courses above. They are expected to state what they learned from each subject above and they shall be graded according to their reports and a final examination is equally required.

Mode of Study / Assessment - For a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy). The students are expected to produce a 15 page of each Course, they've studied and they shall be graded according to their reports and their examination.
